Works on barns, wood fences, new or weathered forest, physical, masonry, and metallic.
Product: A 100% acrylic pigment formulated especially for forest plank fences. This product offers exceptional economy and durability in a user-friendly water-based formulation. It provides excellent weather protection, decoration, and is safe around valuable livestock. This product contains an effective mildewcide to resist the growth of mildew on the dried paint film. This product can also exist used on interior barn surfaces, silos, metal buildings, and aluminum siding. This paint contains xviii% Titanium Dioxide – safe for orchard applications.
Coverage: 300 to 350 square feet per gallon on shine surfaces. 16 running feet of 3 or 4 rails fence on both sides per gallon. Paints approximately 50 wooden posts. Coverage will be less rough cut lumber, textured, and/or porous surfaces and may require two coats for best results.
*Dry Time: Dries to touch in one hr. Can be recoated in four hours.
Thinning & Make clean up: If necessary sparse with pocket-sized amounts of water. Clean brushes, rollers, spray equipment, and easily with warm soapy h2o.
Awarding: Clean surface thoroughly. Remove grit, dirt, or oil by washing the surface with a non-residue all-purpose cleaner. Remove loose or peeling paint and rust with a wire brush and scraper. Pressure washing is the best overall method if available. Caulk cracks and crevices around windows, doors, and trim. For unpainted surfaces, ii coats are recommended. On rusty metallic areas, spot-prime number with a rust inhibitive primer. Stir paint thoroughly before applying. Just paint when the air and surface temperatures are in a higher place 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Exercise not paint in extremely damp weather condition or when rain is threatening.
*Recommendation: Practice not use an oil-based primer; the paint has primer mixed/born. A double-coat should exercise the trick!
Storage & Disposal: Keep the container closed when non in use. In example of spillage, blot with the inert textile. Dispose of contaminated absorbent, container, and/or unused contents in accordance with local, land, and federal regulations. Practise NOT FREEZE.
*Notation: Due to the nature of Firwood, we do not recommend using RAMM paint. We propose staining Fir, rather than painting it. As always, treated posts must exist completely dry prior to painting. If posts are wet with treatment, the paint volition non adhere and/or flake as the mail dries. Some posts can have up to three months to dry out. You could employ a primer to prime number the mail service and then paint, otherwise, you will go a xanthous stain from the tannin in the post if they are too wet.
